This itinerary contains a collection of remote and romantic camps in three Kenya's best parks and coast resorts...

DAY
1

Fly to Nairobi

Fly internationally overnight to Nairobi and arrive the following morning.

DAY
2-4

The Masai Mara

Met on arrival and transferred to Wilson Domestic Airport in Nairobi for the flight to the Masai Mara National Reserve. Met on arrival and transferred to Naibor Tented Camp to stay for 3 nights on a Full Board basis including all park fees and game viewing activities on a shared vehicle basis.

Definitely the jewel in Kenya’s safari crown, the Masai Mara National Reserve and the surrounding, Greater Mara Conservation Area, are still one of the greatest regions in Africa to head for if you are wanting to see plenty of game in a short amount of time. Generally seen as best during the period when the wildebeest migration herds are viewable (from June until the end of October), although the beauty of the park is that it is still host to plenty of resident animals and predators throughout the year.

DAY
5-7

Amboseli National Park

Transferred back to the airstrip to fly to Amboseli National Park. Met on arrival and transferred to Tortilis Camp to stay for 3 nights on a Full Board basis including all game viewing activities on a shared vehicle basis.

Second in notoriety only to the Masai Mara, Amboseli National Park has become famed for its elephant herds and “that” stunning view, with Mount Kilimanjaro in the background. Often seen as best visited during the dry season from July until October, we would actually argue that it is better to visit outside of this period as the park has gotten its name from the salty dust that swirls around during the dry season and, as such, can make things pretty uncomfortable. Combined with the fact that many of the herds are known to move down to Tanzania’s Tarangire National Park when the dry weather set in, this stunning park really comes alive once the short rains of November have arrived and given the already striking backdrop and moody and sullen grey sky contrast.

DAY
8-11

Diani Beach

Transferred back to the airstrip to fly to Mombasa on the South Coast of Kenya. Met on arrival and transferred to Kinondo Kwetu in a cottage on an all inclusive basis.

The coastline down here features the archetypal white sands and azure waters that you would expect from a desert island and, with their secluded location, many of the properties also offer a complete removal from the hustle and bustle of the beaches further to the north.

DAY
12

Back home!

Transferred back to Mombasa airport to fly back to Nairobi and connect onto international flights.

Please note that the above is on a B&B basis unless otherwise shown and the cost does not include international flights.
