Fly to Nairobi
Fly internationally overnight to Nairobi to arrive the following morning.
Samburu National Park
Met on arrival and transferred to the Wilson Domestic Airport in Nairobi for the flight into Samburu National Reserve. Met on arrival and transferred to Elephant Bedroom Camp to stay for 3 nights on a Full Board basis including all park fees and game viewing activities on a shared vehicle basis.
Samburu National Reserve is certainly in amongst the more well-known of Kenya's parks and accordingly has become relatively busy over the years. The main areas for game viewing are along the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro that runs east to west through the park. A great location as the surface waters dry off during the dry season, the game viewing is pretty much guaranteed!
Laikipia Plateau
Transferred to the airstrip for the flight to Laikipia Plateau. Met on arrival and transferred to Sosian to stay for 3 nights on a Full Board basis including all park fees and game viewing activities on a shared vehicle basis.
Laikipia is characterised by a patchwork of interlocking ranches and private concessions offering good game viewing alongside a whole host of family friendly activities such as riding (camels and horses), quad biking, tubing, hiking, fly camping etc.
Diani Beach
Transferred to the airstrip for the flight to Mombasa on the Southern Coast. Met on arrival and transferred to Waterlovers to stay for 5 nights on a Half Board basis.
The coastline down here features the archetypal white sands and azure waters that you would expect from a desert island and, with their secluded location, many of the properties also offer a complete removal from the hustle and bustle of the beaches further to the north.
Back home!
Transferred to Mombasa airport to fly to Nairobi and connect onto international flights overnight.
Please note that the above is on a B&B basis unless otherwise shown and the cost does not include international flights.
