Location

In the heart of the Rwandan capital, the Serena hotel has good access to both the airport and city centre. If guests have a couple of days in Kigali, we would highly recommend the Serena, not only for its convenient location but because of its facilities and level of service.

Layout

As part of the international hotel chain ‘Serena Hotels’, the Kigali Serena is a large property, offering almost 150 rooms among a wealth of facilities. An executive lounge and bar, a newly refurbished swimming pool, a restaurant and café, business centre and health club are just a few examples!

Rooms

The Serena has 148 rooms (combined of standard, superior, deluxe, junior suites, prime rooms and executive suites) which have all been recently renovated and refurbished. Their interior today highlights a chic African style and all have air conditioning, Wi-Fi, satellite TV, hair driers, 24-hour room service… you name it!

Activities

Many of the guests are happy to relax in the hotel by the pool and around the beautiful gardens however if excursions around the city centre are of interest then the staff at the hotel are able to help. Popular things to do in Kigali include visiting the genocide museum, the Caplaki market stalls and generally, the streets and atmosphere of the city which is often referred to as the ‘garden city’.
