Diani Blue is an intimate and personal hotel on the beautiful stretch of Diani Beach. With only six rooms, it is a refreshing contrast against some of the larger resorts in this area, and with almost two staff members per guest, you are guaranteed to get an exceptional level of attention and service. The only downside is that, because of its affordability and intimate atmosphere, availability is sometimes quite a challenge!

Location

Diani Blue is located in the heart of Diani Beach, a beautiful stretch of the Kenyan coast, south of Mombassa. The beaches here are white-sand and the Indian Ocean twinkles under the African sun. There are a range of activities to do at Diani Blue, from snorkelling trips, diving, dhow boat excursions and many more. As well as that, the appealing pool and sea are at your fingertips to spend a couple of days relaxing.

Layout

The main building comprises of the reception, lounge area, dining terrace, library and a small bar. The six rooms are positioned around the main pool. As the grounds of Diani Blue are quite small, the rooms are positioned relatively close together. This adds to the intimate and cosy atmosphere that many guests admire, especially if they have come from safari camps.

Rooms

The six rooms are all named (the blue, yellow, red, nautilus, seahorse and bushbaby room) based on their subtle individual design and interior. They all have either a pool or a sea view and feature a similar traditional, Swahili-style furnishings, with modern en-suite bathrooms.
