Zambia is famous for its walking safaris so this itinerary gives you a feel for the best bush walks and camps in the South Luangwa National Park. You will stay in three of the Remote Africa Camps and walk between them, to really give you a feeling of being out in the wilderness.
Tafika Camp, South Luangwa National Park
Fly from Lusaka airport with Proflight to Mfuwe airport. Met on arrival and transferred to Tafika Camp to stay for 3 nights on a full board basis.
Sat in the heart of the game of the Nsefu region in the South Luangwa National Park is Remote Africa’s Tafika Camp. This intimate camp, which can accommodate up to 14 guests, offers authentic accommodation in the heart of the bush, with a delicate balance of comfort and luxury. Combining with Remote Africa’s bush camps (Chikoko trails), starting or ending your itinerary here works really well.
The rate at Tafika Camp includes full board accommodation (all food and drinks), all game-viewing activities, national park fees and conservation levies and airstrip transfers.
Chikoko Tree Camp, South Luangwa National Park
Walk from Tafika Camp to Chikoko Tree Camp which is one of Remote Africa's bush camp. Stay here for 2 nights and experience walking safaris like no other.
In a remote and wild area of the South Luangwa National Park, Chikoko Camp is part of Remote Afria’s Chikoko walking trails. The surrounding area has no roads or vehicles, so everything is portered into the camp, and activities are all on foot! This is the beauty of the camp – with a real “Africa as it once was” feel about it.
Crocodile Camp, South Luangwa National Park
Walk from Chikoko Tree Camp to Crocodile Camp, which is another of Remote Africa's bush camp. Stay here for 2 nights and experience walking safaris like no other.

Transferred from Crocodile Camp to Mfuwe airport to fly with Proflight to Lusaka. Connect onto your international flights home (booked by you).
