Lusaka
Zambia's largest and capital city
Lusaka is the capital of Zambia and is by far, the largest city in the country. Although the city’s population is increasing, there is a sense of space in the city, and as far as African cities are concerned, Lusaka makes a pleasant overnight stay. The international airport makes it often the starting or finishing point of a Zambian itinerary.
As like many other African cities, accommodation for an overnight stopover in Lusaka is often in a large, international hotel that guarantees comfortable rooms and a good level of service. For those wanting to be further out of the city, in surrounding suburbs, there are a couple of properties we would recommend that tick all the boxes for a comfortable sleep to refresh and revitalize.
For those who want to see the city, Lusaka city and township tours can be organised through the hotels, which are intended to give an interesting overview of Lusaka’s history, tourism and daily local life. Other things to do ans see include the Kabwata Cultural Centre, the National Museum, several art museums and shopping malls.
